Set up the circuit as per the TSOP datasheet. TSOP gives low on receiving a 38khz pulsatin IR signal. Gave the output of TSOP as input of Arduino. However, when the remote was pressed the 14 received bits(as per RC5 protocol) were not constant for the same key. This was because delay given was wrong during sampling.
After getting the right delay, the program was integrated into the main code for programmable load. IT was found junk values were obtained. After the start bit was received, serial communication was used, which affected the timing.
